Tele-Behavioral Health is a thriving modality that allows for the bridging of services across great distances to meet the needs of beneficiaries.  The Pacific Tele-Behavioral Health (TBH) Hub provides a wide spectrum of behavioral health services via video teleconference (VTC) and collaborates with Army, Navy, and Air Force service branches to develop appropriate originating sites to conduct patient care.  As virtual health care continues to grow throughout military medicine, there are several lessons learned that have been addressed throughout the Pacific due to the complexity of geodispersed patients and providers. There are increasing behavioral health needs in the Pacific and across the enterprise; exceeding the on the ground provider capacity at most locations.  Utilizing technology, allows the clinic on the ground to obtain support from outside resources, decreasing time away from work, wait times for appointments, and improving continuity of care.  This is not limited to behavioral health, but can be found in many medical services as well.  The partnership across service branches creates the collaborative approach to supporting our past and present service members and their families. This presentation will offer one region’s perspective on setting up services, challenges, and how to get buy in and fulfill an enduring mission.  Embrace telehealth on a regular basis and find out, what can you do related to telehealth today?
Learning Objectives: 1. Discover what may be needed to integrate TBH into your current operations. 2. Lessons learned from site set-up to the maintenance of ongoing support. 3. Navigating the nuances of different services, technology platforms, systems, and time/space. Target Audience: All
